Do you or your teen have Tourette Syndrome or tics?

Do you or your teen…
· make sudden or rapid movements for no apparent reason?
· spontaneously make noises or other vocalizations?
· feel unable to control these outbursts?
· feel like these movements and/or noises interfere in your life?
If you answered yes to any one of the above symptoms, you or your teen may be suffering from a tic disorder that can be treated. At the Program in Child Affective and Anxiety Disorders at Duke University Medical Center, our doctors can determine if you or your teen needs help. You or your teen may qualify to participate in a research project and receive expert treatment with psychotherapy.
