In-Service Workshops
The Duke ADHD Program has prepared a comprehensive teacher training presentation on identifying ADHD and managing attentional and behavioral difficulties in the classroom. The minimal time necessary is 45 minutes. Additional time would allow for more in-depth coverage and questions-and-answers. We encourage you to contact the psychologist who will be presenting so that the presentation can be tailored to the age of your students and your specific training needs. Examples of previous workshops that we have provided include:
- Identifying, Understanding, and Managing Middle Schoolers with ADHD
- Academic Interventions for ADHD adolescents
- Classroom Management for ADHD students
